I've been at my new job for about five (gloriously happy) months now and I've already received a couple of recruiter emails at my work address. Today's email made a couple of key mistakes. 1) it failed to address me personally, even though the form email was meant to say my name. It also didn't specify my area of architecture (schools) even though it meant to. Leaving those two areas blank is bad enough, but referencing CareerBuilder which I have not signed up with is another.

But the real kicker is that instead of using bcc to send this to multiple candidates, they used the regular cc. So I see the other thirteen people they sent it to. And one of them I know. Although they used an email from two jobs ago, so I doubt he'll respond.
