My in-laws sent me this for my birthday. Played through single player mode. It doesn't have a solo variant but I just played through to check if I followed the rules and understood them. Forgot a couple steps and had to retroactively account for them.
Simple (not simplistic) game to play, probably not so simple to win. Like Forbidden Island and Desert, this is a cooperative game where you win or lose together. And I suspect it is also more difficult to win than you expect.
