My landlord gave us carte blanche when it comes to maintenance of the yard. We can add and remove as we see fit. In the nearly two years we've lived here, I've don little more than the occasional triming.
This summer, I started being more proactive. I trimmed the tree of all the low branches and cleaned up the higher ones, hacked away at several overgrown vines and started reclaiming the side fence.
What I'm curious about is these plants. I'm pretty sure the white flower is a Jasmine shrub. The purple flower is a very agressive vine which intertwines with all the other plants and covers the tops of them. I don't know what the third plant is but it seems a bit sneaky so will probably get removed with the purple flower vines.
