The new Scout year is starting and to prepare for the adventure ahead they need your help. Local Scout Units (packs, troops, crews, posts or ships) and their councils provide the programs and activities throughout the year that families need to participate in scouting adventures. While the national organization provides the overall program, the local packs provide the learning and experience the kids need to become better citizens and adults. Providing opportunities for camping, hiking, swimming, attending events and even subsidizing scout families who would otherwise be unable to participate isn’t easy, but you can help.
