Picked up the acrylic gold paint, didn't like the way it looked. Kept it on the handle grips but went with more blue accents. Also got a nice rust red for the translucent orange areas where it lights up (not pictured)
Next I just need to go over it with a black wash (watered down paint) to give it a worn and weathered look. May apply some highlights at the edges.
