SAN FRANCISCO — BART officials are holding out hope that repairs to a San Francisco trackway can be completed by 4 p.m. today, but there could be delays of up to an hour during this evening's commute.
In addition to the trackway work, BART is also being impacted by a PG&E outage in the East Bay. At about 2:30 p.m., the transit agency reported that BART service was stopped between Bay Fair, Hayward, and Castro Valley in all directions. Riders are urged to seek alternative transportation. AC Transit is offering mutual aid on bus numbers 48 and 99.
