So one of the Principals at my office does some acting on the side and he shared this story from the commercial below.
So, you know how when you see those commercials where someone is running up a hill or through a countryside – or maybe driving a car on some exotic journey – you do know the part you see them running or driving or whatever they’re doing is the ONLY time they’re actually do it – right?
It’s called action/cut/return to first position.
Well, I arrived on this location high above San Francisco via cab as I was told there was very limited parking for the first setup.
So we wrap the first setup and the director tells us to follow the crew to the next location – they’ll drive slow.
And it was like… follow you to the next location?
You mean ride the bikes to the next location?
And then it was like – hey, what happened to the Talent being brought to the next location?
Anyway, as turned out there were 3 next locations covering somewhere around 9 miles which in the end made the laugher you see very real because we were wondering and laughing about where we were going to ride next.
And while it got really cold as we were out there about 5 hours in the end it was really fun and of course something to joke about later.
