So our offices uses excel to manage logs of documents as they come in and go out. One of our practices is to use a date format of YYMMDD (not my choice) but we enter the date into the cells as MM/DD/YYYY and use custom cell formatting to convert the date.
This works well when we use formulas to calculate the time between dates.
Unfortunately someone decided to start entering general text into the date cells and has pretty much ruined everything. The link below had some great advice but it doesn't seem to work with the date format of year first. *Anyone out there have an idea how we can fix 300+ date errors?*
