That two famously polite, helpful, kind organizations with so much in common could not make their marriage work doesn’t say anything good for the rest of us.
This is an opinion piece but seems to be more grounded in reality than most of the articles out there. I know this "breakup" has been in the works and predates the decision to allow girls into the Boy Scouts program.
Note that Venturing (and Sea Scout) programs already allowed girls since 1969.
