Interestingly, many schools did not "accidentally" coincide with Good Friday or Easter. I've even heard of school districts that staggered "spring break" between elementary, middle and high school. Which was exceptionally difficult for families with kids in each age group.
Even my kids' home school co-op class and (unrelated) charter school enrichment class didn't have the same schedule. So we took two weeks off instead.
