Why do backpacks suck? I don't want one for my laptop or for going to school and I don't want one that's just one big pocket. I go hiking with the family and need to compartmentalize jackets, snacks, lunch, camera, water bottles, etc. for the whole family. That means getting in and out throughout the hike and since we're not camping, we don't have gear we're carrying to a destination that will be ignored most of the hike.
